Wendy, the sales manager of Enotek Group Sales Department, is a nine-year veteran of Enotek Group, and also the "bosom sister" in the eyes of many younger generation. However, what many people don't know is that Wendy was a teacher before she was engaged in sales, and she also experienced hesitation and confusion.

 

At that time, Wendy graduated from education major and worked as a teacher. After two years of step-by-step work, faced with this stable and decent career in the eyes of many people, she began to think and struggle, whether the unchanging life and the career at a glance is the life she wants? However, after leaving the familiar work, whether there is still a place for oneself in the society? Is it better to jump out of comfort zone or stability first? After experiencing hesitation and struggle, young Wendy decided to follow her heart and leave the secure job to work as an English interpreter in an enterprise. It was another chance for her to get acquainted with Enotek Group, and from then on she started a nine-year companionship.

The corporate life full of opportunities and unknowns has brought vitality to Wendy that she never had before. Her outgoing personality and solid foreign language foundation make her full of expectations for overseas sales business. However, at the same time, the high entry threshold and industry barriers in the logistics industry have also become the first difficulty she faces. In line with the philosophy of "do what you do, love what you do, and know what you do", Wendy used the most simple but effective method of "doing it by hand". From warehouse material acquisition, construction and installation to troubleshooting of hydraulic device, she experienced every link of production by herself, constantly asked questions, consulted perplexes, and understood the principles. She practically practiced the whole production process like a front-line worker. As time passed, she became more familiar with the equipment. She could not only talk about the advantages of the equipment, but also became a trusted "product expert" in the eyes of customers.

 

"Sales personnel are often the most directly faced by customers, but also the window of the enterprise, if foreigners ask what questions, I also need to ask technical personnel to translate and convey, that is bound to leave an unprofessional impression, sometimes a small detail can determine the success of the business." 'she said.

In an era of abundant employment choices and job-hopping opportunities, there are often reasons more important than salary to stay in a company for nine years. For Wendy, the reasons are the expectation for the future development of the company and the trust in CEO Mr. Jiang Yuejun.

 

On the one hand, Enotek Group has been transformed from a single enterprise producing handling equipment to an overall solution provider in 2013, and then completed brand upgrade in 2021. Each time, the company has accurately captured the development pulse of the country and the market. On the other hand, the attitude, vision and perseverance of the CEO Mr. Jiang Yuejun make Wendy recognize that "this is a company worth growing up with and a 'captain' worth following".

In 2021, with the brand upgrade, Wendy's job responsibilities were also adjusted. As a sales veteran, Wendy encountered a new problem. Originally, she was only responsible for selling hardware products to overseas customers, but now the sales target has changed to domestic customers and the sales content has changed to the overall solution of intelligent logistics. Fear of not being able to bridge the gap between foreign and domestic sales, fear of not being able to grasp the opportunity... When she visited the first customer in her new post, she was in a meeting room full of 20 people. At that time, she could not even understand the CAD drawings. She did not know who she should contact with and dare not interrupt. After countless ideological struggles and psychological construction, she finally chose to face the difficulties head-on, and took out the aggressive effort when she first entered Enotek Group. She started the project site from the beginning, learned the principles, understood the organizational structure of listed companies, and grasped the key nodes of signing orders. Finally, with such persistence and sincerity, she defeated the other two more powerful competitors. For Enotek Group successfully won the order.

 

After this battle, Wendy gained confidence again and continued to outperform itself again and again in 2021 and 2022, achieving significant sales growth. "Don't be afraid to lose face, don't be afraid to fail, your life is only a few decades long, and making breakthroughs is what life is all about," Wendy said.

From teacher to English interpreter, from overseas sales to integrated project sales, Wendy has made remarkable achievements in her ordinary posts in each stage of her life.
