According to Wayne Xu, intelligent logistics will continue to lead the supply chain and logistics industry towards a more automated, intelligent, green and collaborative future, thus promoting the optimization and upgrade of the global industrial structure.

Driven by new quality productive forces, smart logistics is undergoing a period of unprecedented change through the integration of high technologies such as the IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC). These technologies provide powerful support for real-time cargo tracking, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization, dramatically improving supply chain transparency and operational predictability. Through intelligent algorithms and automated systems, logistics operations are becoming more precise and efficient, significantly reducing logistics errors and improving the quality of decision-making.

The deepening of automation and intelligence processes, such as the application of automated warehousing systems (AS/RS) and AGVs, has fundamentally changed the way goods are handled, stored and distributed. These automation systems and intelligent hardware help companies reduce their reliance on manpower, optimize the operational process, reduce labor intensity, and enhance operational safety and efficiency.

In terms of green logistics development, by adopting high-efficiency transportation modes and route optimization software, intelligent logistics helps companies reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. In addition, the adoption of eco-friendly packaging materials and strategies to promote a circular economy further promote the sustainable development of the industry.

Comprehensive supply chain collaboration, on the other hand, utilizes advanced cloud computing platforms and big data analytics to enable more integrated and coordinated supply chain management. These platforms enable end-to-end data visualization and enhance supply chain responsiveness and flexibility, while providing more accurate supply chain risk management.

These strategic technology integration not only drive operational efficiency and accuracy in the intelligent logistics sector, but support digital transformation and business model innovation in the manufacturing and service industries.

In his speech, Mr. Wayne Xu also introduced Enotek's innovative practices in intelligent logistics, emphasizing how data-driven decision-making and operation optimization can be achieved through the full-chain industrial intelligent logistics solution of “equipment+software+systems+platform service”. Besides, he shared cases with famous enterprises at home and abroad. These cases demonstrate the customized solutions provided by Enotek in different industries, and how they effectively drive innovation and optimization of business processes and enhance customer service experience, thus maintaining vitality in the highly competitive market.

Professor Fang and his assistant Zhuoyuan Zheng analyzed in depth how intelligent logistics can empowers new quality productive forces. First of all, the speech clarified the relationship between intelligent logistics and new quality productive forces, and proposed that intelligent logistics can empower the new quality productive forces in other industries besides the logistics sector. Subsequently, the speech unfolds from the physical and information dimensions, respectively introduces the development trend of lightweight, modularization and flexibilization of intelligent logistics equipment under the new quality productive forces, as well as the development of digital twin, artificial intelligence and AIoT in the IT system of intelligent logistics. Finally, the speech focuses on the huge potential of Sino-German cooperation in the field of intelligent logistics, and introduces the extensive cooperation that Tongji University has already carried out with Germany.

Lars Baeumann, IDS Promoter Ambassador, gave a presentation on the development of International Data Spaces and the key role it plays in the logistics sector. He explained how IDS, through its architecture, has created a data sharing ecosystem that protects data sovereignty, with traceability and trusted participants. According to Lars Baeumann, the International Data Spaces Association now has 147 members, more than 70 International Data Space cases, and has established its branches around the world. He believes that the development of International Data Spaces will help cope with the challenges of enterprise data interaction and sharing in the logistics and supply chain field, and promote the prosperous development of the digital economy.

Several other industry leaders and experts, including Stephan Schirmacher of European Logistics Association; Xu Guozhong, Program Director of ALSCO, Zhou Lu, Sales Manager of STEP Robotics; Junjing Wang, Chairperson of BVL Chapter Beijing, also shared their insights, which further enriched the conference.
